Shower, shave, and exfoliate 24 hours before your session. Removing dead skin cells creates a smooth, even surface that allows the solution to absorb properly and extend the life of your tan. Skin should be clean, smooth, and completely dry at the time of your appointment.
Avoid applying lotions, oils, perfumes, or deodorant on the day of your tan. These products create a barrier on the skin that can interfere with absorption and may cause streaking, beading, or uneven color development. Deodorant in particular can react with the solution and cause discoloration under the arms.
Wear loose-fitting, dark clothing and flat sandals to your appointment. Tight garments such as denim, leggings, bras with straps, elastic waistbands, or metal hardware can rub against freshly sprayed skin and affect development. Arrive with minimal or no makeup for the most even application.

After your session, allow the solution to fully develop before showering. Wait at least 8–10 hours before your first rinse unless otherwise instructed. If needed, a minimum of 6 hours is recommended. During your first shower, you will notice the cosmetic bronzer rinsing away. This is normal and reveals your developing color underneath.
Avoid sweating, swimming, or getting wet until after your first rinse, as moisture can interfere with development and cause uneven results. Plan to limit physical activity until the following day.
To extend the life of your tan, moisturize morning and evening with a hydrating, alcohol-free lotion. Well-hydrated skin slows natural exfoliation and helps maintain even fading. Products containing alcohol can dry the skin and cause the tan to fade more quickly or unevenly.
Avoid exfoliating scrubs, long hot baths, steam rooms, chlorine pools, hot tubs, harsh soaps, waxing, or hair removal creams while your tan is active. These accelerate exfoliation and shorten the life of your color.
When washing your hands immediately after your appointment, rinse palms carefully and avoid splashing water onto other areas of the body until after your first shower.
